A cyclist was seriously injured on Thursday afternoon by a collision with a truck in Volkel. The victim had to be resuscitated. The accident happened at the intersection of the Erfstraat with the Zadelmakersstraat.
Several ambulances and police cars came to the report at the intersection. A trauma helicopter also landed. The victim was resuscitated on the spot and then taken to a hospital by ambulance.
The environment of the accident has been deposited for investigation.
