A cyclist was injured this morning in an accident with an excavator in Emmen. The victim was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
The emergency services were called to Zuidbargerstraat around 11.15 am. Several ambulances are present at the scene of the accident. A Mobile Medical Team has also been deployed for specialist care.
Zuidbargerstraat is closed for the time being for a police investigation.
