This morning a motorist and a cyclist collided on the Groningerstraat in Assen. In addition, the cyclist was injured. How that could happen is still being investigated.
The accident happened at the intersection of the Groningerstraat with the Thorbeckelaan. In addition to the police and an ambulance, a trauma helicopter was also called. The victim was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries with the ambulance.
