A cyclist crashed tonight with a car on the Vaart ZZ in Assen. The cyclist was injured and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The accident happened at the Witterbrug, where work is currently underway. It is not yet clear how the accident could happen. The road towards the center of Assen has been closed for some time.
