A cyclist died on Thursday morning in an accident on Liessentstraat in Uden. The victim ended up under a truck and died on the spot of his injuries.
The accident happened shortly after half past nine. The Liessentstraat is closed for thorough investigation into the accident. The police expect the road to stay closed for a longer period of time.
Emergency services present en masse
Emergency services pulled out en masse. Two ambulances, several fire trucks, including a care vehicle and a tanker sprayer, and police services came to the scene of the accident. Fire personnel from Mill en Uden were also used to assist.
