Cycling tourist (51) collapses after a ride in Bruges: victim removed in critical condition Bruges

The fifty-year-old had gone out on Sunday for a ride with his racing bike. In Sint-Andries things went wrong shortly after noon. The man did not feel well and decided to get off his bicycle. Moments later, the man collapsed. It was immediately clear that the situation was serious. A nurse who happened to pass by immediately stopped and started CPR while waiting for emergency services. The victim was eventually taken to hospital. His condition is critical. It is a medical matter, there was no accident or collision.
