It can get busy on Saturday on roads to winter sports areas in Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland, the ANWB reports. The traffic service expects the most delays on the roads just before the ski areas, because these are often smaller roads that are not made for so much traffic. The North and Central regions have school holidays from Saturday.
