By taking over the land and buildings from the HopCon company, the municipality of Ermelo thinks it is killing two birds with one stone. The neighborhood has been relieved of all nuisance and much-needed houses can be built on the plot on the Horsterweg. Progressive Ermelo (PE), however, is not reassured and points to the polluted past of this place.
