Do you understand what a Christmas gift? Cristiano Ronaldo has purchased two villas on the Red Sea, for a cost that seems to be around 8 million euros. Nothing special, put that way, in fact, for someone like him. But since CR7 never does anything “normal”, it should be known that the two villas in question are located on the island of Nujuma, Saudi Arabia, 16 miles off the coast of Hanak; no futuristic connecting bridges, the super exclusive island can only be reached by boat or seaplane, it depends on the level of exhibitionism… The Portuguese striker himself revealed this in an interview with Saudi Gazetteunderlining: “It is an exceptional place, Georgina and I felt a deep connection with this island from the first time. It has an extraordinary natural beauty, here we find peace and tranquility.”

Total expenditure, it was said, around 8 million euros: 5 million for the main villa with three bedrooms, the remaining 3 for the annex with two bedrooms, for friends and relatives so to speak. In addition to comfort, the villas have a design signed by star architect Norman Foster, that of the Millennium Bridge and London’s City Hall among hundreds of other things.
