The number of calls to the crisis hotlines in Flanders and Brussels rose sharply in 2021. There were 19 percent more requests for crisis aid than the year before. The number of new calls will also remain high in the first months of 2022: there are on average forty every day. This has been announced by the Flemish Agency for Growing Up.
