The banks and the federal police warn about the phenomenon of ‘bank card phishing at home’. Criminals pose as bank employees or police and try to visit people’s homes to obtain their bank card and PIN code. According to banking federation Febelfin, there was “an escalation” of this form of fraud in 2024.
