Criminal charges against Nico Schulz – it’s about domestic violence

Serious allegations are being leveled against the Borussia Dortmund defender. The public prosecutor’s office and the association have now expressed their views.

Soccer pro Nico Schulz from runner-up Borussia Dortmund is in real trouble. An ex-girlfriend has filed a criminal complaint against the 29-year-old for domestic violence. This was confirmed by the Dortmund prosecutor Sonja Frodermann to the SID late on Saturday evening. “There was a house search and storage media were secured,” the lawyer said.

BVB was quoted on SID request as in the picture on Sunday: “To date, we were not aware of any investigation by the public prosecutor – concerning Nico Schulz’s private life. We take the reporting as an opportunity to talk directly to the player to look for the serious allegations.”

Among other things, the allegations are about violent attacks that are said to have occurred during the relationship, reports the “Bild”. The ad, which a Hamburg lawyer placed on behalf of the ex-girlfriend in June, is explicitly about seven acts. The allegations are said to have been described on 76 pages.

The tabloid sent Schulz an extensive list of questions about the allegations. He had his lawyer answer – according to which the allegations were “inaccurate”. Schulz has now deactivated his social media accounts on Instagram and Twitter.
