Creative director Lasse Holger Mitterhusen leaves Olympus

The clothing supplier Olymp Bezner KG will have to do without its previous creative director Lasse Holger Mitterhusen in the future. Mitterhusen “expressed the desire to leave the company and reorientate oneself,” said the Bietigheim-Bissingen-based shirt specialist on Friday.

In a statement, the company paid tribute to the outgoing chief designer: “In recent years, he has played a key role in shaping the orientation of the Olymp brand in terms of the collection, increasing the clarity of the fashion signature and further developing and sharpening the unmistakable collection identity,” the company explained. “For this he deserves our fullest appreciation and we regret that our 5-year collaboration is now coming to an end.”

Mitterhusen switched to Olymp in 2018 and took over the post of creative director in early 2020. In the course of his career, he has previously held creative and product management roles for well-known apparel companies such as Baldessarini, Hugo Boss, Jack Wolfskin, Cinque and Windsor.
