Cows leave the stable at Oostra partnership in Wapse, Freddy continues with biobased cultivation of winter wheat

The voluntary buyout scheme for Dutch livestock farmers also leaves its mark in southwest Drenthe. More than 1,500 farmers registered, including Freddy Oostra from Wapse and his cousin Reint from Wapserveen. The cows leave the stable and Freddy sets out on the path of growing winter wheat. Biobased, because the straw can be used for insulation material, among other things.
