Court of Audit and opposition target calculation of Flemish debt: “This really goes very far”

The Court of Audit and the opposition parties are strongly critical of the way in which Budget Minister Ben Weyts (N-VA) calculates the Flemish debt in the latest budget. This is no longer compared to revenues, but to the Gross Regional Product (GRP) of Flanders. According to Weyts, this method of calculation is common internationally.
