Court: Chemours liable for damage caused by emissions of harmful PFAS substances

Chemours is liable for the contamination with chemical PFAS substances of a large area in the Drechtsteden. This concerns the period between July 1, 1984 and March 1, 1998. That is the judgment of the Rotterdam court on Wednesday in a case brought by the municipalities of Dordrecht, Sliedrecht, Papendrecht and Molenlanden against the Teflon factory on Baanhoekweg in Dordrecht.
