From the future of Giampaolo to that of the other pillars: many in Lecce have the suitcases in hand. And while the mythological DS looks around, the company invests in young people and infrastructures

Word of order: patrimonialization. Just under five years ago, Saverio Sticchi Damiani presented the new manager of the technical area of his Lecce, Pantaleo Corvino, insisting on that concept that has become a mantra today. “Our club must grow, but it also needs to create value.” Translated: you have to find talents where the others do not seek them, and then enhance them and sell them by weight of gold. In the beginning, it was the turn of Hjulmand, passed in 2023 at Sporting Clube for 20 million. Last summer it was touched in Pongracic and Gendrey (25 million collected thanks to the sales to Fiorentina and Hoffenheim), in January to Patrick Dorgu, flew towards Manchester for 30 million plus bonuses. Just five months have passed, but in the Lecce house it is already time to think about the next output shots. The boys grow and dream of the qualitative leap, the company satisfies them and invests in young people and infrastructures: a high -level spring, the rose of the first team composed almost exclusively of owned players, a sports center by Us Lecce and a stadium ready to make up for the look.
