Corona regulations from the start of lectures

The following applies to:

courses and examinations

  • Up to and including Friday the 1.4.2022 there is a mask requirement (FFP2). After that, the mask requirement in courses and examinations will be lifted.
  • 3G is not required to the 03/20/2022. Therefore, no more day and long-term passes are issued.
  • Courses take place as described and accredited in the respective module manuals. Possibilities for digital teaching are regulated in the respective SPOs.
  • At the request of the lecturers, examinations can be held face-to-face or digitally after consultation with the dean’s office. The legal framework is regulated by the examination procedure regulations.

Work and non-teaching events (e.g. committee meetings)

  • The mobile working service agreement will come into force again on March 20, 2022. It regulates the possibility of working from home.
  • 3G and the 10m² rule for office workplaces canceled on March 20th, 2022.
  • the Mask requirement (FFP2) will be in the previous form at least retained until April 1, 2022possibly also beyond.

The Technical University of Lübeck continues to recommend wearing a mouth and nose cover indoors, when several people come together, as well as keeping distances and hand and sneeze hygiene. In addition, the university asks that you do not come to the university with symptoms of unclear origin. Especially those who cannot be vaccinated for health reasons should experience solidarity and be protected.

It is expressly not possible to set your own rules, for example to insist that a mask is worn in your own course or in your own office. This can only be done voluntarily.

Work and other activities not related to teaching (eg committee meetings)

  • The service agreement on mobile work will be reinstated on March 20, 2022. It regulates home office arrangements.
  • 3G and the 10m² rule for offices will cease to apply on March 20, 2022.
  • The indoor mask mandate (FFP2) will remain in effect until 04/01/2022, and possibly longer.

Technical University of Lübeck still recommends wearing a mask (FFP2) indoors when multiple people gather, keeping your distance, and practicing good hand and sneezing hygiene. In addition, we ask you not to come to campus sick or while exhibiting symptoms. Especially those who are unable to get vaccinated due to health reasons should know solidarity and be protected.
