The match between Ajax Women and sc Heerenveen Women on Friday 21 January is cancelled. Due to several positive corona results in the camp of the team from Amsterdam, Ajax cannot bring the required minimum number of players to Heerenveen.
After all players and staff were tested yesterday, there were eventually several positive results. The positively tested players went into isolation immediately. The Amsterdam club does not disclose which players are involved for privacy reasons.
Postponed
Because the team was unable to meet the minimum of twelve field players and one goalkeeper required by the KNVB for the away match against sc Heerenveen, Ajax contacted the association and submitted a request to postpone the match. After consultation between Ajax and the KNVB, it was decided to comply with this request. A new playing date is still being sought.
