The Los Angeles Rams put Cooper Kupp in front of the door on Wednesday. Although this separation was not surprising, it is obviously not easy for the Wide Receiver to leave its long-standing NFL team.
After the sparrows had previously shouted from the California roofs, they released Rams Kupp Officially on the third day of the Free Agency and the first day of the new NFL year. Shortly afterwards, the person concerned published a video on X himself that traces his way in Inglewood.
“Eight years full of incredible memories,” wrote the former third round pick to the clip. “We have often talked about the fact that the RAMs are back in LA and how we would become something special here. At the beginning it was frustrating because we could not convince the people in LA. But we knew that it was ultimately about creating moments. Things about the parents and their children and that they are kept in memory.”
Kupp added: “This is what makes the end of these eight years so difficult. It is the end of something we have liked to have built up. Thank you for these moments together. Thank you La that you received my family with open arms and made it possible for us to grow here. The next chapter is now beginning. The best is still coming.”
NFL: Kupp last fought with injuries
However, Kupp may have long since exceeded his zenith. In the 2021 season he secured the triple crown with 145 receptions, 1,947 receiving yards and 16 receiving touchdowns before he was victory over the Cincinnati Bengals (23:20).
After this career highlight, however, the wide receiver was repeatedly based on various injuries. In the last two seasons, for example, he completed only twelve missions. The RAMs are therefore now the separation, which has been granted against the background that Kupp 2025 would have grown a basic content of $ 12.5 million and a roster bonus of $ 7.5 million.
