Chris McDonough, a retired detective employed by the Cold Case Foundation, told the Daily Mail. “It’s not the bananas he likes. I’m not sure if that means they have weird spots on them and he doesn’t like them, or if there’s a certain type of banana he doesn’t like. But he complains about it.”
It is not clear what type of bananas are being handed out in the prison, but it is said to have led to Kohberger throwing a tantrum. He is serving a prison sentence for the murder of four students at the University of Idaho.

“You’re not making this up, are you?” McDonough continues his argument about the murderer. “That guy is a quadruple murderer and he complains that his bananas aren’t the kind he likes.”
Jailhouse Karen
Kohberger would be known by the nickname Jailhouse Karenreferring to the stereotypical name for people who complain about anything and everything. He is also said to have complained about the fact that he did not always get all his food at meals. In addition, Kohberger requested a transfer to another prison wing.
The heavily guarded complex has not yet joined in with Kohberger’s lament. “The prison says: just accept it,” said McDonough.
