When checking the processing of waste, storage of reusable land and transports, shortcomings have been established at 17 companies and 3 transporters.
The investigation by the Drenthe Environment Agency and the Human Environment Inspectorate was carried out at 24 business locations and 6 transporters.
The violations that were established involved, among other things, working without a permit, storage of hazardous substances without a soil protective layer, transporting waste without correct documents and not separating different types of waste.
According to the Drenthe Environment Agency, the results give cause for follow -up research.
