CF Estrela Amadora is apparently still looking for reinforcements on the German market. According to Transfermarkt information, the Tricolores have made an offer for attacking midfielder Ryan Johansson from third division club Wehen Wiesbaden. The Portuguese first division club is said to have recently agreed to a change with Cologne’s loanee Chilohem Onuoha, while full-back Sidny Cabral, who was only brought in from Viktoria Cologne on a free transfer in the summer, was sold on to Benfica Lisbon for 6 million euros at the beginning of January.
A similar development is apparently hoped for with other players from the lower German leagues. Johansson’s contract expires at the end of the season, so the Hessians could still generate a short-term transfer for the 24-year-old Luxembourger with Irish roots. The 1.86 meter tall right-footer went through FC Bayern’s youth team from U17 to U19 before moving to Sevilla FC’s secondary representation in 2020. This was followed by positions at Fortuna Sittard in the Eredivisie and SC Freiburg, from where Johansson moved to Wiesbaden in 2024. There are a total of 76 third league appearances, and so far this season the offensive force has made 16 starting eleven appearances and four scorers in 18 league games.
