Conor Bradley mourns late father Joe

In terms of sport, things are going well for Conor Bradley at the moment. But off the pitch, the young professional footballer suffered a serious loss.

Youngster Conor Bradley from Liverpool FC has to cope with a bereavement in the family. As the leaders of the English Premier League announced, the father of the 20-year-old Northern Irish international died on Saturday.

“Liverpool FC is deeply saddened by the death of Conor’s father Joe, who passed away today,” wrote the “Reds” on X: “The thoughts of all members of the club are with Conor and his family.”

The highly gifted Bradley recently played his way into the public eye as part of German team manager Jürgen Klopp’s successful team. In only his second Premier League appearance for Liverpool in the 4-1 win over Chelsea on Wednesday, the right-back scored a goal and prepared another goal. On Sunday, LFC will face third-placed Arsenal FC in the top game.
