The excerpt that Connie Witteman is so concerned about comes from an interview that Gordon gave yoursafe Radio three months ago. In it he strongly spoke about the way André Hazes Sr. is still celebrated as a hero, while Rachel Hazes once publicly told that she ended up in bed with him at the age of fifteen.
“André was pedophile”
At the time, Rachel worked in his house as a babysitter and did not see it coming. Gordon was very bright: “That man is just a pedophile. And then we cancel Marco Borsato, who has not been convicted at all or whatever. That music should never be played again, but this is possible?”

Maybe she realized that she was wrong, or maybe she simply found out that the fragment was months old. But probably also played something else: her years of feud with Gordon.
That feud goes deep. The low point came in 2013, when Connie canceled at the last minute for a Gordon benefit show. He called her furiously and called her a ‘dirty, dirty, gross, spoiled secret’.
