Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak congratulated the classical bow mixed team consisting of Elif Berra Gökkır-Mete Gazoz duo, who won the gold medal at the 2026 Open Air European Archery Championship held in Antalya. Minister Bak included the following statements in his congratulatory message:
“I congratulate our classical bow mixed team consisting of Elif Berra Gökkır and Mete Gazoz, who won the gold medal in the 2026 Open Air European Archery Championship held at Antalya 100. Yıl Archery Facilities. I congratulate both of our athletes for the bronze medals they achieved in their individual competitions and wish the continued success of our national archers. The championship, which was hosted by Türkiye in Antalya and where 307 archers from 41 countries competed, was successful. “I would like to thank those who contributed to its organization.”
