The police were pulled out en masse on Thursday evening to the Echternuchstraat in Den Bosch, because of a confused man. The man made suicidal statements from his balcony, which, according to the police, were disturbing. The street was therefore closed off and five homes were evacuated.
The police do not want to say what kind of statements the man made. A negotiator started a conversation with the man. As a precaution, the Special Interventions (DSI) service was also present. That team occurs with life -threatening and complex arrests.
Around ten o’clock the man was arrested with the use of the DSI. According to a police spokesperson, nothing dangerous was found in the man’s house.
The man is probably transferred to the crisis service. The other residents can go home again.
