33. Minute of play – there is no point of view from Mainz’s point of view: Trondheim compensates. And of all things, goal scorer Bell has a capital mistake: the Mainz defense has already clarified a long ball of the Trondheimers – but then Bell strikes over the play equipment. Dino Islamović is wide awake, starts in the penalty area and completes Robin Zentner. Very bitter.

28. Minute – and there is 1-0 for the Mainz: fog crosses from right into the center of the penalty area, Lee is completely free and comes to a conclusion with his head. Tangvik can still ward off this attempt, but he no longer has a chance with Bell’s margin, the Mainz defender hits flat and trick into the far corner.

20th minute – Mainz determines this initial phase of the game, but the attacks of the 05er are still lacking.

17th minute – That has to be the 1-0: fog continues with head on Lee, which suddenly stands freely in front of Tangvik, just has to insert – but fails on the Trondheim goalkeeper.

15th minute – Mainz is now really putting pressure. Dominik Kohr continues to Weiper, leaves a defender in the penalty area and pulls out left. But his shot also goes past the gate very close.

14th minute – Mwene is in good position on half -left and pulls off the penalty area border. His shot is not a problem for Rosenborg goalkeeper Sander Tangvik.

11th minute of play – This time Lee tries it with a cross, again Weiper rises, comes to the header – but does not bring the ball on the goal.

8th minute of play – And the corner almost leads to cheers: Paul Nebel hits the ball with a cut into the guest five-and Weiper sails just over below.

8th minute of play – First considerable action by the Mainz. Philipp Mwene is used on the left and continues directly to Jae-Sung Lee. The South Korean wants to put in the middle of the penalty area, but his cross is clarified by Rosenborgs Santeri Väänänen to a corner.
