You’ve almost been living under a rock if you haven’t heard of it: AI. But what does it cost in electricity if you ask a question to a chatbot? The wildest stories are going around. What does all this mean for underlying shares? Peter Siks, investment expert at investment platform Lynx, explains. The use of AI in the workplace has doubled in the past year, although almost half of Dutch employees still do nothing with it. Younger travelers are increasingly using AI to plan vacations. Of all respondents, no less than 32% indicated that they use AI tools such as Gemini and Chat GPT to plan their vacation. Travel organizations use AI influencers to promote travel. Spotify has removed 75 million AI-generated songs from its platform in the past year. This indicates that there is a huge increase in AI-generated music.
