A large amount of waste has been dumped in the Moerenburg nature reserve near Berkel-Enschot and Tilburg. A 112 correspondent from Omroep Brabant is talking about a ‘complete bathroom’ that has been thrown away.
The Buunderpad was littered with construction waste on Monday morning. The Buunderpad is a dead end road in the nature reserve, which is located right next to the A65. The mountain of waste is clearly visible from the highway. Several road users reported the construction waste to the police on Monday morning.
There are tiles, roller blinds, insulation items and spotlights in large and small piles. A sink, toilet and some window frames have also been thrown away. There are also cigarettes and coffee cups among the construction waste.
The police and the municipality are investigating the dumpings. Police have already searched for evidence to find out who dumped the waste. It is still unclear when that happened.
