“Christiane F. – We children from Bahnhof Zoo” is dedicated to the life story of Christiane Felscherinow. A teenager who loses herself more and more in a delirium of drugs and prostitution in Berlin in the 1970s. The film was first released in 1981 and soon became a classic. Now the drama will be re-released in a restored version on April 7, 2022, including bonus material.

13-year-old Christiane F. lives with her family in a high-rise complex in Berlin-Neukölln. In search of consolation, she gets deeper and deeper into the drug scene. The intoxicants, which initially seemed like a way out, quickly became Christiane’s undoing. Because soon she becomes addicted to heroin and ends up in prostitution to finance her addiction.
