Company from Oostrozebeke wins award for international export

The company from Oostrozebeke won the award in the category ‘companies with more than 50 employees’. “We see the Lion as a prize for every employee, as an appreciation for our joint ambition and as an extra incentive to continue on the path we have taken,” says CEO Paul Larmuseau.

56 people work in Kipco-Damaco Belgium.

Major international export

The jury decides on the basis of the turnover figures from export, geographical diversification, corporate social responsibility and innovative strength. The figures show that the company is a crack in international exports. 83 percent of the turnover is due to exports, a large part of which is to non-European countries.

The producer exports to Singapore, Brazil, India, China and Vietnam, among others. In addition to the head office in Oostrozebeke, there are production sites in Poland and France.

About the company

Kipco-Damaco has been around since 1964, with Oostrozebeke as its head office and with three business units.

The company produces separated chicken meat for processing into, for example, deep-fry snacks, and it trades frozen vegetables, meat, fish and chips for retail.

In addition, there is also the recovery of by-products from poultry production. These are processed into functional building blocks for, among others, aquaculture and food and animal feed producers.
