Now it’s official: Damien Comolli is a Juventus manager. He will be the General Manager, as a report of the CEO Maurizio Scanavino. He is not a true and substitute for Cristiano Giuntoli (already verbally raised by the position of technical director by John Elkann and now to work to define the closure of his relationship with the club) but a manager who will be a reference for the sports area, to act as a guarantor on the next investments. Numerically, Francesco Calvo replaces, coming out towards the Aston Villa and with greater skills on marketing. Comolli, who will also follow the marketing and commercial areas, is a football man with thirty years of experience, who boasts past prestigious as an observer and from sports director to the recent adventure at Tolosa as president. Elkann has identified him so that he can direct the football branch in the Juventus company with his skills.
Chiellini’s new role

In Riporto di Comolli there will be the former Juventus captain Giorgio Chiellini, a Juve man strongly desired by Elkann with the role of Directory of Football Strategy. In fact, Chiellini will therefore be the first reference for the members of the sports area. Comolli said he was “happy and honored to become part of a unique society, by history, identity and perspectives.
