If you used to be an exception if you held your bikini top while sunbathing, nowadays the opposite is a fact. Fewer and fewer women today sunbathe topless on the Dutch beach. And that while it is allowed on all public beaches in our country.

In the 1980s we saw all shapes and sizes of breasts pass by during a cozy day at the beach. Now you see the perfect bodies on TV and social media. Have we become more prudish and more insecure? And therefore do we dare to expose ourselves less quickly?
Uncomfortable
Many women simply feel uncomfortable when they take off their bikini top. Not necessarily out of shame, but because they feel that others think something about it. That is a shame, because actually everyone should feel free to sunbathe, as she feels comfortable. With or without a top.
