The omens were bad for the Nordic Combined: Some of Geiger’s teammates, including Eric Frenzel, dropped out due to corona infections. The man from Oberstdorf himself came fresh out of quarantine on Wednesday. But after a weak jump, Geiger demonstrated his talent in the run.
