Olympic champion Kjetil Jansrud clinched his second World Cup success this winter in the super combination in Wengen/Switzerland. The 30-year-old Norwegian prevailed after the downhill and slalom run on the Lauberhorn with a wafer-thin lead over his teammate Aksel Lund Svindal (0.04 seconds back). Third place went to Adrien Theaux from France (+0.13). The only German starter, Andreas Sander from Ennepetal, could not place in the top 20 after a disappointing downhill performance.
