France won the endurance test against Brazil, now the next cracker is coming up. Opponent Colombia has to forget the defeat against Croatia (1:2).
Even before France’s game against Colombia on Sunday in Washington, national coach Didier Deschamps had made it clear that he would use the test to replace ten or eleven players compared to the most recent game against Brazil (2-1).
The 57-year-old explained his decision to “L’Équipe” as follows: “I want to see as many players as possible back on the pitch. I don’t have all the players’ physical data yet.” Deschamps wants to gain his final insights in order to be well prepared for the World Cup squad nomination in May.
Colombia coach Néstor Lorenzo, on the other hand, was happy with his team despite the 2-1 defeat against Croatia: “I think we played at a high level and apart from a few minor problems, we played very well.” Both teams have the best conditions for a hopefully entertaining text.

11th minute – Colombia has the chance to counter. In the end, Mojica is free on the left. However, he misses the cross completely, so that France even gets a throw-in from the other side.
8th minute – The game was briefly interrupted because PSG star Doué was injured in his own penalty area. However, the 20-year-old can continue playing
4th minute – Bayern attacker Luis Díaz dares and shoots from a good 25 meters centrally in front of the French goal. The ball whizzes just past the left post.
3rd minute – Zaire-Emery finishes around 18 meters from the goal. However, the ball is deflected into a corner for France. However, the standard situation brings nothing.
1st minute – A few seconds have been played and Bayern star Luiz Díaz is already on the ground. After a foul by N’Golo Kanté, the attacker is briefly on the ground, but can continue playing.
