Employees of Dierenambulance Hokazo in Uden are holding a collection campaign for a deformed kitten that was brought in there last week. The animal left behind was found in Heeswijk-Dinther. “It’s a small, special man.”
The kitten is lovingly taken care of at Hokazo reception center. He was named Yeti there. “After a first check by the vet, it appears that Yeti has more than just a unique face,” said a Hokazo spokesperson. “He has a hare lip, misses some teeth and his eyelids curls inside. That causes a lot of irritation and pain.”
Substantial cost
The vet is further worried about the shape of Yeti’s head and the position of his eyes. To properly understand what is going on, the kitten needs an MRI scan and probably also an eyelid correction when he is a bit older. That entails considerable costs.
That is why Hokazo is one collection campaign started. “Because we want to give Yeti every opportunity for a nice future.”
