He is extremely proud of the photos he takes and they regularly fill his Instagram account.stories: Coen Swijnenberg. The presenter of Radio 538 regularly travels and then shows everyone what he is photographing there. Despite his passion for photography, he does not want to participate in Het Perfecte Plaatje.

Coen says no

RTL 4’s photography competition seems to be the ultimate challenge for Coen, but he has turned down an invitation to participate. “Contact has been sought, but it cannot be combined with my daily radio program. It is a recording period of weeks, possibly including a trip abroad.”

He continues on Instagram: “And honestly, I’m not that keen on getting into TV shows. Maarrrr, great that the program is doing so well and that viewers are made enthusiastic about photography.”

Diarrhea

Perfect Picture presenter Tijl Beckand emphasizes The Telegraph that such a TV trip is not a sweet trip either. “It is beech, without rest days. It’s one after the other. But that makes you closer to each other faster.”

During the shooting in South Africa, many candidates from last season also fell ill, he admits. “The KLM staff already warned us about the Capetown belly, then you have diarrhea for about seven days. I think it’s because the electricity goes out regularly and restaurants don’t always have a generator.”

Morocco

Coen likes to travel a lot in private, such as recently to Morocco. “We did not feel unsafe there. As always when travelling, of course, pay attention, especially in the city. Seen pickpockets at work in Marrakech. I was also approached by a lady who asked if I could help her with a credit card. Turned out not to be pure coffee.”

He sighs: “Well, that happens in Amsterdam too. Outside the cities, people are very friendly.”
