The KNMI has issued code yellow for this afternoon and evening due to local slippery conditions. There is a chance of winter precipitation in various places in the province.
The warning applies from 3:00 PM until at least 12:00 AM. Temperatures will rise later in the evening and the slipperiness is expected to gradually disappear.
In addition to Drenthe, this also concerns the provinces of Groningen, Friesland, Overijssel, Flevoland and Gelderland.
Earlier today, code yellow was also in effect between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m., because winter precipitation also fell in various places in the province this morning.
