The KNMI warns of heavy gusts of wind up to 80 kilometers per hour over the Wadden Islands. It has therefore announced code yellow for Wednesday evening.
The wind first comes from the southwest and later turns to the west, according to the KNMI. “Traffic can be hindered by this and there is a risk of minor damage, for example by breaking off tree branches.”
The weather warning is currently in effect from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. The wind then decreases in strength.
