The KNMI warning code orange for heavy thunderstorms is behind us, but the KNMI continues to warn for high temperatures.
Code yellow will remain in force in our province and large parts of the country until ten o’clock on Monday morning. RTV Drenthe weatherman Gert Voerman saw that it was already around 27 degrees in many places in the province around noon.
The temperature will also reach the same value tomorrow. Later in the week it could be more than thirty degrees again.
The combination of high humidity and temperatures ensures a high maximum heat force between 7 and 9, reports the KNMI. This can pose a health risk, especially during physical exertion.
