The Roman tennis player, after eliminating the American Svajda in the round of 16, targets the Canadian with whom he has a 2-0 lead in the direct matches
Italy has never been so great despite the absences of Sinner and Musetti: three tennis players – Cobolli, Berrettini and Arnaldi – in the quarter-finals of the Roland Garros Slam represent an achievement that should make the whole movement proud. And for Flavio, Italy’s number three, the great opportunity of a possible semi-final: let’s find out the prediction and odds for Cobolli-Auger Aliassime scheduled for Wednesday 3 June at 1pm.
COBOLLI-AUGER PREDICTION VERY ODDS
—
For Flavio, the Roland Garros quarter-finals represent a great achievement, which will allow him to even come close to the top ten of the ATP ranking: in the event of a victory against Auger-Aliassime, the Roman would be able to break down this wall too and become the number 2 in Italian tennis after Jannik Sinner. The victory against the American Svajda was not easy. Flavio, in fact, had momentarily lost himself in the third set, when he was leading 5-1 and one step away from victory. His rival, however, managed to come back and take the match to the fourth set, when Cobolli finally closed the matter.
Against the American Cobolli he lost the first set of his Parisian Slam: against Pellegrino, Wu and Tien, in fact, he had always won with a score of 3-0. Now the challenge against Auger Aliassime, the second highest seed in the tournament after the highly favored Zverev.
In a match that promises to be very balanced, why not consider a nice 3-2 in the set betting in favor of a Cobolli in great form? A solution that can be found on the board at odds of 6.00 on Snai and Vincitu, at 5.75 on Starcasinò and at 5.70 on Admiralbet.
THE ADVANTAGE OF FLAVIO
—
During their career, at ATP level, there have been two comparisons, both in 2024 and both won by Cobolli. Flavio, in fact, beat the Canadian in Montreal (6-2 6-2) and in Acapulco (2-6 6-3 6-2). Results that can give a good boost to the Roman tennis player who won over the French public before and after the match against Svajda by congratulating PSG on their victory in the Champions League.
Auger Alissime, number 6 in the ranking (Cobolli entered the draw as number 14), reached the quarterfinals by beating Tabilo very easily (6-3 7-5 6-1). He had previously eliminated Altmeier, Burruchaga and Nakashima.
Cobolli is the sixth Italian to enter at least two Slam semifinals (after Wimbledon last year): before him Sinner, Musetti, Berrettini, Panatta and Barazzutti.
In counting the overall games at the end of the match, we can consider the Over 39.5 which is on the board at odds of 1.80 on William Hill, Netbet, Betflag and Netwin.
