According to media reports, Werder Bremen surprisingly separated from coach Ole Werner. A successor is already ready.
“Bild” and Sky report that the Bundesliga club is planning the coming season without the popular chief coach on the Weser. The association did not comment at first.
Horst Steffen is traded as a possible successor, currently coach at SV Elversberg. An official confirmation is still pending.
Steffen did not comment on his future in the evening after the lost Bundesliga relegation against 1. FC Heidenheim (1: 2). “There is still no information from me. I have to process the game first,” he said at the Sky microphone.
