The coach of the Argentine top club Boca Juniors, Miguel Ángel Russo, is dead. The club from Buenos Aires announced this. The 69-year-old was diagnosed with cancer in 2017. “It is with deep sadness that Club Atlético Boca Juniors announces the death of Miguel Ángel Russo,” Boca wrote in a statement on the X platform. “Miguel leaves an indelible mark on our club and will always remain a role model of joy, warmth and commitment.”
The club also wrote: “We accompany his family and relatives during this difficult time. Farewell, dear Miguel!”
