Co-founder Intel Gordon Moore (94), of ‘Moore’s Law’ passed away

Gordon Moore, co-founder of the tech giant Intel, died Friday at his home in Hawaii. Moore, who lived to be 94 years old, is best known for his prediction that the computing power of computer chips would double every year, later revised to every two years. That observation has come to be called Moore’s Law.
