Schalke is extending its contract with a sporting goods manufacturer early. And this retroactively and under improved conditions.

FC Schalke 04 and Adidas are significantly expanding their collaboration. The contract between the second division club and the sporting goods manufacturer from Herzogenaurach, which originally ran until 2027, has been extended early by four years – and is now valid until June 30, 2031. The supplier 11teamsports also remains part of the partnership. The club announced this on Monday.

The new agreement has already come into force retroactively to July 1, 2025. Schalke speaks of “even more attractive economic conditions and services for Royal Blue”. As the “Bild” newspaper reports, the traditional club will receive around 2.5 million euros per season for the deal in the future – so far it has been around 1.5 million euros.

The extension also brings changes for the fans: in the future there will be three individually designed jerseys per season. In addition, new special collections in the merchandising area are planned. In addition, women’s football at the club is supported with additional free goods.

Schalke’s CEO Matthias Tillmann said in a club statement: “We are very proud to be able to continue our trusting partnership to such an extent.” The early extension shows “how intensively we live this successful collaboration”.

Adidas has been Schalke’s supplier again since 2022 – after a four-year phase with the British company Umbro.
