Club Brugge has been undefeated for ten matches, Sporting Lisbon is in a dip in form after the departure of their success coach after three defeats in a row.

Trainer Nicky Hayen of Club Brugge: “Apart from that dip, we are very aware of the momentum there is and we are definitely trying to seize that. On the one hand, you find a team that started with 33 out of 33. On the other hand, they have lost the last three games. Here it starts to appear that it is the ideal opportunity and I agree with that. But it does not take away from how much quality they have. They also have 10 out of 15 in the Champions League.”

Club Brugge is also aiming for those 10 points to reach the play-offs for the eighth finals. The remaining opponents are Juventus and Manchester City.

“We said in advance that it will be the last 2 games. It will also depend on the results of the coming days how many points you will need. But the most important task tomorrow is to keep those three points at home.”
