The individual letters of the word unibet on the jerseys of Club Brugge are no larger than 75 cm². The Gaming Committee responds that it will strictly apply the new rules. “For the calculation of the size, the entire space that takes the brand name and/or the logo will take into account and not just the surface of the individual characters,” says Marjolein De Paepe of the KSC.
“The operators were informed and invited to apply that strictly. They have responded positively,” says De Paepe. “In the event of further infringement, the KSC can impose administrative sanctions on license holders by, for example, expressing a warning, temporarily suspending a permit or withdrawing a permit.”
