The Dutch circus world is sad and shocked about the death of Anneke Olivier (79), the ‘mother’ of the illustrious Herman Renz circus, where she was not only the face, but also the driving force for many years. Her son Milko Steijvers (59) is sad and proud at the same time: “We were two hands on one stomach. How I am going to miss her…”
